Sueno Latino (What's the Story)
A track that made history on the Club Culture.
Ricky Persi here tells anecdotes and feelings about the production of "Sueno Latino", including the impact that has had the first time in which it was played. we are talking about a unique era in terms of creativity, and above all, a record that continues to fascinate today as it did yesterday.
and if we begin to think about tomorrow?
Ricky Persi:

Ricky Persi:
"Hello Manuel ... then, everything was born in 1989 at Movida nightclub in Jesolo where he came to play Massimimo Lippoli, and at some point in the evening he puts a record bought the day before on turntable ... Disco Electronic New Age and on a another plate one house percussion to give the rhythm!
I and Andrea Gemolotto going crazy to hear what came out and at the end the evening we convinced Massimino Lippoli and Angelino Albanese, his friend and fellow DJ to come and do the mix in our studio in Udine, where we had started making mix for our new Label DFC.
Then Carolina Damas, then girlfriend of Johnson Righeira (Vamos a la Playa) was a dear friend of ours ... she attended the Movida .she had just arrived from South America and we decided that would be the ideal interpreter for the piece, give him a text and a latin flavor!
The following week we went to the studio to prepare everything .... very decisively and clear ideas, make a long piece, latin ... but with the electronic sample of E2E4.
While the recording goes on, our man for discography call 'Manuel Göttsching and took the first plane to Berlin and get him to sign the contract for the sale of the sample, and get him to sign some of the music ... of course.
Sample's world is just beginning for make hear us something, but we were really among the first to sample so 'an important part to create something new.
We went out with the first copies White Label ... start of Summer, and Massimino use 'SUENO LATINO ... the finished record ... for the first time at the inauguration of Byblos ... between Misano & Riccione !!!
full for full ... it was a triumph ... the track was played 3 or 4 times until the early morning and we knew ... with chills on the skin would become a success!
for us this became a CULT record. "
Manuel: "always nice, yes. ... I took it out last Saturday at the Canary Island in a DJ set ... always works!"
Ricky: "The new is coming... a new Sueno Latino 'but' sung by a black guy ... will a surprise and completely new."
Manuel: " Argh! Sueno for me is only with Damas voice!"
Ricky: As for all of course ...
However, for the younger of today do not even know about this track ... It is part of a magical era that have not lived! "
Manuel: "Thanks for the contribution, I can't wait to hear " Sueno Latino 2.0 "and best wishes for all other new productions, i see you very active in this partnership with the Kompakt Distribution FM-Germany. Bye Ricky"
Ricky: "Thanks to you Manuel, was a pleasure .... anyway the whole project has been done with a lot of fun with friends .... and .... GOOD VIBES very important thing !!!! ... Bye Manuel !!!! See you next time !!! "

Plastikman Ex Techno Icon
Richie Hawtin is the DJ at the top of the food chain in the business of the night, and under the name Plastikman has earned over the years in the field of electronics the iconic status, a pioneer of applied technologies for the production in the studio or live set.
Yet, despite all this I can say that I am pissed off, because of all this technocracy, musically I would expect more from him, of course, the details make the difference if it deepens the listening, but most feel that new ideas only the latest scream in effects.
there is no doubt that this is Plastikman, but unfortunately, twenty years have passed.
It 's time to look ahead.
In this music business is such as recycling, i remind everyone that the plastic man passes on friday morning.

Idiophones
If you plan to carry out the activity of dj's, i want to give you a piece of advice: in preparing a record in the next mix did not turn up the volume of headphones too much, is useless as it is always better to adjust the mixing result of listening to the sound through the speakers, otherwise after a few years you will find yourself constantly hear this buzzing of bells in your ears, with the risk of remaining idiot.
The dj however, is a category known for it's bronze face, deaf to the advice.

Often spend time on social networking sites and if there's one thing i must say, i can not stand some individuals who believe themselves to dj or expert of music engineers and their way to criticize everything and everyone and never let us listen to their mastery .
I appeal especially to those who work with commercial dance music, those that "the important thing is that it is at the top of sales charts, you can also listen into the corner of the supermarket meats, which is mentioned in the commercials of cleansers" in short the kings of easy.
They do not make us never hear a new song found nowhere, not even a live recording of their feverish influenced dj sets, their only mission is to judge others.
Here is a snippet of one of my recent live as a dj, and of course from my point of view is not perfect, in the live set, you never stop learning, but this time more than talk about cleaning mixing and selected records, what i will remember to do next time is to not trust the managers of a club for the equalize the audio system without if they not having the right experience, because if this recording sounds pretty clean, the same can not be said of the way in which the sounds came from audio speakers while I was doing my work at that time.
The soundcheck is always necessary if you do not know personally with who you go to work together.
